Scope of Practice
Recovery Kinetics provides sports massage and recovery treatments designed to support muscle recovery, reduce tension, improve mobility and help clients feel and move better in everyday life, sport and training.
Treatments are focused on soft tissue work, recovery support and movement-based care. Services provided are not a substitute for medical treatment, physiotherapy, chiropractic care or emergency healthcare services.
No Medical Diagnosis
Recovery Kinetics does not provide medical diagnoses.
While assessments and discussions may help identify areas of discomfort, tightness, restriction or muscular imbalance, this does not constitute a medical diagnosis or formal healthcare opinion.
A medical diagnosis can only legally and professionally be provided by appropriately regulated healthcare professionals working within their licensed scope of practice.
Why This Is Important
Many symptoms can appear similar while having very different underlying causes. For this reason, it would be unsafe, unethical and outside of professional scope to diagnose medical conditions without the appropriate clinical testing, imaging, investigations or qualifications.
The priority is always client safety, professional honesty and ensuring clients receive the most appropriate care where needed.
Referrals & Further Advice
If symptoms present outside the scope of sports massage and recovery treatment, or if there are signs requiring further investigation, clients may be advised to seek additional support from a GP, physiotherapist or other qualified healthcare professional.
This does not mean treatment cannot help support recovery, movement or comfort alongside other care where appropriate.
Client Responsibility
By booking a treatment, clients acknowledge that:
Sports massage and recovery treatments are not medical services
No medical diagnosis will be given
Treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed
It is the client’s responsibility to disclose relevant medical history, injuries, symptoms and health conditions before treatment
Any advice provided is for general recovery and well-being purposes only
Emergency & Medical Concerns
Recovery Kinetics does not provide emergency medical care.
If you are experiencing severe pain, sudden swelling, unexplained symptoms, neurological symptoms, chest pain, breathing difficulties or any medical emergency, you should seek immediate medical attention.
Professional Boundaries
Recovery Kinetics operates within the scope of sports massage and recovery care. Treatments are intended to support recovery, mobility, muscular tension and general wellbeing, but are not intended to replace medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.
Treatment Suitability
Certain symptoms, medical conditions or injuries may require medical clearance before treatment can take place. Recovery Kinetics reserves the right to refuse or modify treatment where it is considered unsuitable, unsafe or outside professional scope of practice.

Every individual responds differently to treatment. While sports massage and recovery treatments may help improve comfort, mobility and recovery, specific results cannot be guaranteed.
